Welcome to the crossroads of where “what’s currently trending” and “what I personally am crushing on” collide. AKA? My Quarterly Faves.
Quarterly faves are updated each season, along with my big “Best of” post at the end of the year. I thought “Quarterly Faves” would be a nice way to highlight some exceptional products throughout the year.
Be sure to come back each quarter for a refresh on what’s hot + TNK exclusives.
Fall clean beauty trends
Here’s what we’ve been loving lately—call it the dish on our latest beauty crushes. Have you tried any of these?
Olive + June Nail Art Pens | $48
From Nicolle: OMG, I’m obsssesssssed with these nail pens. Over the years I’ve tried lots of (very) simple at-home nail art, going as far as buying a nail art brush set from Sephora, and trying cute O&J nail stickers. Nothing quite worked the way I wanted and it was always a bit laborious for basic nail art. Then we got to try these NEW nail art pens and they make the process soooo much easier! They’re little tubes of polish with built in “brushes” on both ends. One end turns the tube into an actual pen (good for flowers and dots), and the other end is a super skinny brush (great for drawing lines, etc.).
My best tip: Use waaaaaay less polish on the skinny brush end than you think. Otherwise, play away and watch your nail art dreams come true.
Cozy Earth Organic Joggers + Crew Neck in light gray | $155 + $120
Basically I haven’t taken off this set since it arrived, lol. Love the color, love the feel, love the I-can-be-on-the-couch-or-running-errands functionality. Produced in bamboo factories with a closed loop system, bamboo grows several feet in a year. Cutting it down doesn’t deplete forests, it doesn’t destroy habitats and it doesn’t need to be treated with chemicals to grow. In addition, all Cozy Earth products are OEKO TEX 100 Certified, meaning they are tested to be free from harmful chemicals. Plus, each item also comes in a super cute satchel or bag or fabric zip pouch.
Vyrao Free 00 | $190
Vyrao launched in 2021 and is announcing itself as the world’s first wellbeing brand to fuse energetic healing with master perfumery. From their website: “Vyrao fragrances are formulated sustainably and are composed of 88-89% natural ingredients of which 80% are certified organic, with raw ingredients sourced from Robertet Grasse, the world leader in providing organic materials for perfume. The 11-12% of “unnatural” ingredients we use in the fragrance are compounds we use in place of plants that need to be sustained in nature, not picked for their perfume. The base of our fragrance is 100% organic sugarcane alcohol, which is grown without pesticides and fertilizers. All of our products are vegan, cruelty free, gluten-free and ethically-sourced.”
I’ve tried all 5 scents and Free 00 is my fave. Vyro said they created it specifically to evoke feeling alive and uninhibited, which also speaks to me.
ILIA Multi Stick Palette Limited Edition | $42
This ILIA limited edition multi stick palette has already been discontinued from the ILIA site, but you can still get it from several retailers who we will link you to below. 😏 I personally think making this a limited edition is a big mistake, HUGE. This is honestly one of the best products ILIA has ever put out—I literally use it every day AND it’s a dream to pack for travel. You get SIX multi-stick colors, including a highlighter and a bronzer all in a small travel-sized recyclable palette. I mean, what more does ya girl need?! NADA!

One Love Organic’s Brand New Day | $49
You know how you just want that “fresh face” feeling? This is it. Brand New Day squeezes out like a cream, but don’t be fooled. It’s actually a 3-in-1 treatment: a cleanser, a mask and an exfoliator (twice over). I love applying this to my face and letting it sit for 5 minutes to allow the tropical fruit enzymes to work to resurface skin. Then I go in with wet finger tips to manually exfoliate as this treatment has a micro-scrub texture to it. Then I rinse clean and my face is as SMOOTH as Adam Levine’s lies. Jkjk. Ecocert Organic Certified. Oh, and it smells like their Botanical B Enzyme Cleansing Oil. Completely obsessed with this light reformulation.
From Nicolle: It’s fab for sensitive skin too, because it WORKS, but it’s gentle. It’s in my weekly routine rn! Love the reformulation from a powder to a cream. Props to you, OLO.
INIKA BB Cream in Beige | $49
I’ve been a long time fan of the INIKA BB Cream and my love has not waned. I got a new sample to try recently because they lightly reformulated. Happy to report that if I didn’t know about the reformulation, I wouldn’t have noticed.
If you have never heard the term “BB cream,” it’s a product that is typically lighter in texture than a foundation and is used to even out skin tone. Beige is a perfect color match for me in this formula. It goes on even with very light coverage. The coverage here doesn’t cover or hide; it just makes everything a little more even. This formula is super natural and breathable. Perfect for everyday wear. I also love that it has prickly pear oil, pomegranate, avocado and jojoba oils to help moisturize as well.

OM’s Marula + Cactus Nourishing Face Oil | $42
Okay so this love affair came on suddenly and out of nowhere. Love the texture (hardy and weighty), love the feel (moisturizing and cocooning), love the scent (beachy coconut). This 100% organic face oil gets everything right. It delivers moisture and nourishment that leaves my skin feeling plump, supple, quenched and quelled all day long. Loved it to the last drop (yep, I used it ALL).
Jenny Patinkin Skin Smoothing Trio Dermaplaning Set | $18
I’m obsessed with all things Jenny Patinkin. More specifically, her Skin Perfectors, which combine a stainless steel safety blade and surplus wheat straw bioplastic to create a tool you can use on your entire face to exfoliate, remove peach fuzz and enhance product absorption. It also helps makeup wear smoother too! WARNING: Once you start, you won’t stop! 😂
Vejo Blender | $99
I’ve been loving this portable blender that literally gives you an organic smoothie anytime, anywhere. It works via a pod system so you fill the blender with water, add a biodegradable pod (freeze dried organic veggies and fruits), press “on” and 30 seconds later you have yourself what I would call a thick juice or a thin smoothie. So good. Especially for travel, shift work, long days out and more. Oh and it’s TSA approved too!
Nicolle jumping in: I use this EVERY DAY. I add an additional greens powder sometimes to get an added veggie boost, and I love how simple and nourishing it feels to sip each morning. Plus, they taste GREAT, and I know I’m doing something easy and good for my overall wellbeing. In a pinch, I love a Vejo blended smoothie, a string cheese and some almonds for a hearty afternoon snack! Can’t wait to take this with me on a trip—no more eating whatever gluten-free thing I can find in the airport (read: Doritos).
Skandinavisk Scent Diffuser in HAV | $65
I was so excited to find this diffuser as a better option for us diffuser lovers. Skandinavisk is a B Corp Certified brand inspired by travel and experiences across Scandinavia (Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden). The notes and ingredients are local to the Scandinavian landscape while giving a nod to that Hygge lifestyle.
These are definity made with synthetic fragrance components, but the difference here is Skandinavisk discloses their fragrance ingredients, so we know exactly what is in them. I actually hired a consultant to look at the ingredients with me and she agreed that for people who love diffusers and want a better option, this is it.
Additional things to note…These diffusers are housed in glass made from 30% recycled materials, outer boxes are sourced from managed Swedish forests, with natural color dyes and are FSC Certified and they also offer diffuser refills packaged in recycled plastic.
I’m obsessed with these scents because they smell like the real thing—no patchouli here! Plus they also have a big throw and are gorgeous to display. I tried three different scents: SKOG, HAV and HYGGE. HAV is my fave.

October 7, 2022What do you do with plastic tubes when they are empty?
Lisa Fennessy
October 20, 2022Hi Andrea! Check out ILIA, they have a recycling program that takes all brands tube back! xo, Lisa
Kelly
October 9, 2022I always find something great to try from these posts! I am almost out of my Leahlani Pamplemousse cleanser and am considering trying the One Love Organic’s Brand New Day in it’s place. Any thoughts on how the 2 compare? Thank you!
Lisa Fennessy
October 20, 2022Hi Kelly! Okay NOT an equal swap. The Brand New Day is good 1-2x a week. It’s a little abrasive and it’s meant to be an exfoliator while pamplemousse also exfoliates with fruit enzymes, it’s very gentle and can be used daily. If you are looking for another daily oil cleanser, THIS ONE is another of my all time faves. xo, Lisa
