An Intentional Pause

January 24, 2023 — Written by

TNK is taking a short break from publishing new content on the blog. And we really do mean short. Here’s why and what you can expect the next few weeks.

A woman stands with the Atlanta skyline in the distance behind her.
Lisa at Piedmont Park, Atlanta, Georgia.

As you know we just rebranded to The New Knew (and the trumpets they go🎺🎉🤸‍♀️). And even though our excitement around our new name is through the roof, this is a HUGE undertaking and we need time to wrap up several outstanding projects related to this. (Anyone want to rebrand 1,500 pins for us?! lol).

We also realize we need more help and will be taking this time to expand our team. Do you know a fantastic content manager or junior content manager or someone who is fabulous at editing and writing? Hook us up

Lastly, my mom is currently in the ICU after some complication with her brain surgery and chemo treatments this past fall. I’ve been flying down to be with her on the weekends and to help my sister manager her care. It is really important to me that I can show up full and ready to support so this pause feels right to me right now.

While the backend goings-on isn’t normally what we talk about here, I wanted to let you know so you don’t think we’ve gone permanently dark. (We will STILL be sending our beloved FriYAY emails, so if you haven’t subscribed yet, be sure to so we can keep in touch). And we will be back with fresh, new blog content around the middle of February.

We’re taking to heart our current mission: Saying no to life on auto-pilot and saying yes to being your own number one advocate.

Thanks for being here.

P.S. I’ll still be over on IG and TikTok if you want to stay up-to-date, and we’ll be “in office,” happy to answer your questions.
